24 Frames
“24 Frames” is a series of abstract cyanotypes - 9x12 monoprints made in the week between Christmas 2020 and New Years. My dad went into the hospital with Covid-19 and I found myself making hundreds of these compositions with the same round and ovoid shapes- meditations on chance and possibility. 24 were selected for the grid as a reference to the 24 frames per second typically used to trick our brains into processing still images as movement.
